Thank You to Our Funders
Cemetery Road Baptist Church is deeply grateful for the generous support of a number of funding bodies whose contributions have enabled essential maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment work to our historic building. These investments have been vital in ensuring our premises remain safe, welcoming, and fit for purpose as a place of worship and a hub for the local community.

Most recently, we are especially thankful to the National Churches Trust’s Small Grants Programme, which awarded £4,125 towards the completion of the refurbishment of our Hall and urgent roof repairs. As the church Fabric Officer, Peter Kennett, commented:
“This church is most grateful to the National Churches Trust’s Small Grants Programme for an award of £4,125 towards the completion of the refurbishment of our Hall and for urgent repairs to parts of the roofs. This will enable us to continue to serve the local community, as well as being able to worship without looking up anxiously at the ceiling!”
Thanks to these generous contributions, Cemetery Road Baptist Church is becoming a more resilient and welcoming space - honouring our heritage while equipping us for future service.
