Sunday Services
Sunday Morning
Our Sunday morning services, running from 10:30am until around 11.45am, seek to blend both the traditional and contemporary as we worship Jesus together!
There’s typically around 100-120 people who gather from across the city, representing many cultures, backgrounds and languages, as we come together to sing, pray, listen to the Bible and a sermon, and to enjoy time as a community together over tea and coffee.
Typically, we’d be all in together for the first 20 minutes of a service, after which the children and young people will head out to their groups, before coming back together for the final song.
There’s a voluntary offering taken during the service, though there is no pressure to take part!
We share communion on the 3rd Sunday of each month, and our Communion Table is open to all who know and love Jesus!
Do get in touch if you had any questions about our services!
Sunday Prayer Ministry
As we gather on Sunday for our services, there is an expectation that God will speak for our strengthening, encouragement, and comfort, to challenge us, heal us and guide us. While those conversations often start in services, they rarely end there!
As we look to partner with Jesus in His work in our lives through the ministry of the Spirit with us, a response is often required as God speaks. Although it can take a lifetime to work out those responses, sometimes having a person or couple of people to pray with you straight after a service can really help. We’re currently building a team of people who will be specifically available for this ministry… but in the short term, if you’d like someone to pray with you, or you’d like to take on a role in praying for others, please do get in touch with Andrew and let him know!
Sunday Afternoon
From 2pm-5pm, our Congolese-speaking congregation gathers for a time of prayer, praise, teaching and fellowship. The congregation meets in the Hall near the Napier Street Entrance, and would love to provide you with a warm welcome!
Service are often translated into English, while mainly being presented in Congolese. Please get in touch if you’d like to know more!

Exploring Faith
As a Church, we encourage members to become more like Jesus – to learn about Him and to be His disciples.
Teaching on aspects of faith and belonging primarily occurs through the preaching and through study in the various Fellowship Home Groups that are geographically spread around the city. However, we do also have a number of Courses to help us to learn how to be the people Jesus would want us to be:
-
Baptism classes
-
Membership classes
-
Safeguarding training
-
Sharing your faith
-
Marriage classes

Home Fellowship Groups
Discipleship teaching primarily occurs through the preaching and through study in the various Fellowship Groups that are geographically spread around the city.
We have several fellowship groups which meet regularly on different days of the week and some online. These are smaller groups which gather together for prayer, Bible Study and friendship. Most groups meet in members’ homes every two weeks on a weekday evening.
There is a group that also meets at Church on alternate Monday nights at 7:30 p.m.
Congolese Fellowship
Meeting from 2pm-5pm, our Congolese-speaking congregation gathers for a time of prayer, praise, teaching and fellowship. The congregation meets in the Hall near the Napier Street Entrance, and would love to provide you with a warm welcome!
We have Church members from Central-East Africa who meet for fellowship, language education and socially.
Our Congolese Fellowship, known as Christ’s Mission, meets every Sunday afternoon from 2pm to 5pm in the Hall. There is an act of worship, teaching and great fellowship.
The fellowship uses the languages of Swahili and Kinyamulenge. Services are often translated into English, while mainly being presented in Congolese. Please get in touch if you’d like to know more!
Farsi-speaking/Iranian Fellowship
خوش آمدید به کلیسای ایرانیان
The Farsi-speaking Fellowship meets on Monday evenings at 7.00pm in the Conference Room. Each week there is Bible teaching, followed by a time of prayer. Everything is either in, or translated into, Farsi.
We are excited by the work that God is doing among the people of Iran and other nearby states. Read this link from Premier Christianity that shares something about what we are experiencing now in CRBC with our Farsi Fellowship.
The Fellowship also offers –
-
Pastoral support for asylum seekers and those granted leave to remain looking to settle in Sheffield
-
Baptism classes
-
Bible studies – every week
