• 'May Meander' spring walk - Saturday, 9th May, 10:30 a.m.

A walk led by Peter and Rita Shepherd in Ecclesall Woods and visiting the ruins of Beauchief Abbey. About 3 miles with the opportunity for refreshments at Ecclesall Woodlands Centre (about 11.30 for any not walking). Meet at Totley and Dore station entrance promptly at 10.30. A train leaves Sheffield at 10.14. Or bus 97 or 98 (to Abbeydale Rd South/Twentywell Lane) from Moorhead. Some parking on Abbeydale Road South. • Ladies' takeaway evening - Saturday, 15th May, 5-7 p.m.

• CRBC Women's Weekend Away: 12th-14th June 2026, Castle Rigg Manor, Lake District 

At CRBC, we love connecting with each other, spending time with God, and growing together - and it's great to deliberately plan ways to make that happen, when we see needs and opportunities arise, where recently we've been working to provide a few more events especially for women! We're excited to announce a self-led retreat in Keswick, Lake District, for a time of fun, fellowship, walking (optional), relaxing and reflections with other women. Accommodation: Mostly shared, some dorms. Transport: Not included, but we may be able to help organise shared lifts.
