• New Year Women's Reflective Evening, with cake and nibbles, Friday 16th January, 7-9 p.m.: Can you bring something to share with the group that's special to you, e.g. a song/poem/story/Bible piece/item/thoughts about 2025? • 'Winter Wander': Saturday, 17th January, 10 a.m.

A short walk is planned for Saturday 17 January. Meet at 10 a.m. at the entrance to Winfell Quarry Gardens - cars park on The Crescent off Ecclesall Road South (near drive to Whirlow Brook Hall), bus stop Ecclesall Road South/Limb Lane (no. 81 or 65), postcode S11 9QD. 3 miles max through Whirlow Brook Park along Limb Brook, finishing for coffee/snack at the Shelter café. Likely mud and a bit rough in places. Everyone welcome. Please email events@crbchurch.org.uk, or let Peter and Rita know, if you're coming.​

• Men's breakfast: Saturday, 31st January, 9 a.m.

A cooked breakfast plus a short talk/discussion. Theme: "Antarctica before 'Elf 'n Safety". To sign up, please email events@crbchurch.org.uk​

• Ladies’ takeaway social - Saturday 7th February, 5-7 p.m.

The ladies of the church are invited to come down to church for 5-7 p.m. on Saturday 7th February to share a takeaway and enjoy a time of fellowship together. Payments by cash on the day. Please see Tarnall or email events@crbchurch.org.uk to sign up.

• CRBC Women's Weekend Away: 12th-14th June 2026, Castle Rigg Manor, Lake District 

At CRBC, we love connecting with each other, spending time with God, and growing together - and it's great to deliberately plan ways to make that happen, when we see needs and opportunities arise, where recently we've been working to provide a few more events especially for women! We're excited to announce a self-led retreat in Keswick, Lake District, for a time of fun, fellowship, walking (optional), relaxing and reflections with other women. Accommodation: Mostly shared, some dorms. Transport: Not included, but we may be able to help organise shared lifts.
